2007 NAPA Best of Show Winner
RIMCO’s design-production team won the 2007 C. Taylor Kew Award for Best Rigid Box at the North American Packaging Association’s Annual International Competition held in Orlando Florida for the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel and Condominium buyer package. This high end presentation package was designed to hold floor plans, property brochures and other important documents that is presented to prospective condominium buyers. It’s construction features a five panel wrap around cover secured with a hidden magnet and engraved plate closure. The interior tray is designed to organize and hold the materials for easy removal and viewing. The package has a turned edge window, debossed logo plate, is wrapped in leatherette cloth and is fully padded for a very lux feel. Top brands demand packaging that represents the values that distinguish their offering and this package was a huge success for Hard Rock properties, one of America’s highest visibility brands. 2009 is behind us and we want to start off the new year with some ideas that you may find will fit into your marketing plans for 2010. Each quarter we will send you a sample product to add to your idea file.
We want to introduce you to new materials and new uses for old materials over the next year. By creating these items and putting them in your hands, you will be able to evaluate how these materials will work in your marking plan. Our goal is to get your creative juices flowing.
Our factories, both US and abroad, have cut back production this year but we have kept our talented workers so that when things begin to roll, we will be ready to jump on your projects to meet your deadlines.
The first sample is made from polypropylene. Poly is the perfect alternative for a paper or laminated paper product that needs to be durable. As you can see, the printing surface is smooth and graphics pop. Perfect for high traffic as well as wet areas like pools and bars. Paper must be tossed when it becomes soiled while poly can simply be wiped down and reused.
